How to get more followers on Instagram?

People always have an urge to get more likes, comments, followers, etc on social networking sites. Instagram is one social networking site where millions of people upload photos and videos daily with some exciting filters to offer. Okay! So you are on Instagram? You are uploading pictures and you want some followers but don't know what to do? You are in the right place! I have uploaded some of my Instagram pictures earlier in this blog and I thought why don't I help you people gain some followers so that you build some interest for the app. Let's get started right away. Below are the 5 ways which I think will help you gain a lot of followers on Instagram!

1. Keep Uploading!

No matter what, you need to keep uploading pictures on Instagram. Maybe 2 photos a day would make a good deal! Users always tend to follow those who keep uploading stuff time to time. More the posts you have, better the chances of you having many followers. 'Keep Uploading' should be your primary aim!

2. Follow Others

Ha! The second method. Following others can truly help you gain followers. There are lot of users on Instagram who follow back. Follow back means following someone who just followed you. By following others, you not only get more followers, but you also gain some experience in the app. Some of might feel difficult in following many users. I have a solution for that. All you need to do is unfollow those who haven't followed you back!

3. Share on social networking sites

Instagram allows you to share your photo or video(after you have added the filter) on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc. Keep in mind that people who know you will follow you much easily than those who don't. Moreover, social networking sites will be filled with people who know you. So, when you share on these sites, the chances of you getting more followers is more.

4. Comment, comment, comment!

To get more followers, you need to be an active user. Commenting on others' photos can be very advantageous. By commenting on others' posts, many people will visit your profile and most probably follow you!

5. The Badges way

If you have a blog or a website, add an Instagram badge so that you can make some followers by directing your site viewers to your Instagram profile. You can create your Instagram badge here. It's very simple and once you are done making one, place it on your site by copying and pasting the HTML code on your site.

Instagram Update

                       

Taddaaa!! I'm back. This time I thought of showing you some of my photographs from Instagram. My card reader isn't working and I am unable to upload the photographs on my SLR. So I thought I will update my blog with my Instagram updates until I get a new card reader. So you have it, my new post 'Instagram Update'!

I love uploading my photographs on Instagram. Found an awesome subject? Take out your mobile, open Instagram, click.. click and click. Then add a filter and Share! Done. That's all you need to do and it cannot get simpler than this. Some of the filters available on the app are X Pro II, Toaster, Inkwell, Walden, Hefe, Nashville, etc. Instagram keeps bringing out new filters with every app update. That's what I love about the app. Now, you can even upload and edit short videos! Sharing has been fantastic in this app. Select where you want to share. Maybe it's Twitter or Facebook or Tumblr or any other social networking site, a tap can share your Instgram images on these platforms.

Instagram Update #1

Show off!

Yesterday was a very good day for me. I had gone to my relative's house and found some beautiful flowers showing off their beauty. I really wanted to frame them but there was a problem! I didn't have my camera with me. So what?
I didn't have my camera but luckily I had my iPad with me. iPad can click decent images. I clicked some pictures of the flowers and made them more exciting using Instagram. Instagram can be very helpful in giving a better touch to your images. Nowadays, mobiles too can click good images and people often use apps like Instagram, photoshop etc to make it still better!
